No to insects, yes to the environment. INSECTIVORO uses the combined action of UV-A lamps and a fan. Insects are attracted by the light, sucked in by the fan, and trapped in a drawer. Users can then choose whether to keep the insects until they die or release them. The patented MO-EL drawer features an automatic closing flap in case of blackout or shutdown. To release the insects, simply remove the drawer, open it, and walk away.
THE FAN
Insects attracted by the light are sucked in by a plastic fan with rounded blades that trap them in the drawer without crushing them. The fan is completely safe even for children, including in the event of accidental hand insertion, as it is designed and built in strict compliance with specific safety regulations.
THE FLAPS
The flaps are housed in the lid of the drawer or filter and open and close automatically in sync with the fan’s power on and off cycles.
THE STRUCTURE
Made with scratch-resistant plastics, the device is portable and can be placed in any environment, either on a surface or mounted on a wall. Filters and drawer are easily removable and washable with water.
